Germantown High School 94th Class 1963-2013 Fiftieth Anniversary Sunday, October 20th, 2013 Philmont Country Club
Some comments:Thank you, thank you, thank you for the hours you all spent to make last night such a fun memorable evening for everyone!!! I know how much work it takes to put together an event like that, and you didn't miss a thing. It was so great seeing everyone, and I think our class looks FABULOUS!!! I have heard so many stories from friends who are attending their 50th's this year about classmates looking so old and unhealthy.... Not our class!!! I am at that place in my life where I usually have a sleepless hour or two in the middle if the night. Last night I spent that time rehashing the evening, and found myself smiling at things that were said by old friends I haven't seen in years. It's amazing how we can just pick up where we left off like we have never been apart! Guess that's what "old friends" do... I will be smiling for days to come! Thanks again!!!

Dear Committee Members, I just wanted to tell you what a fabulous job all of you did on putting on the reunion. I know all of you put in a lot of time and effort. The results showed it. I personally had a wonderful time. It was great seeing everyone. No one looked a day older. It was interesting to see and hear how our lives played out. I wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving and a Happy and Healthy New Year. Thanks again, Sincerely, “Richie” Bell
Although, I didn't dance much last night, I had a wonderful time. I am so glad that you chose the place where we had our senior prom; last night gave me a second chance to really see what I missed out on 50 years ago. We arrived just in time to get my prom pictures taken, since my mother drove us an hour and a half out of the way, and there I was in my first formal gown. Because of missing out on that evening,I found myself going to every formal affair that came my way. But nothing seem to satisfy me, until my son went on his first prom. After all of those years, what I missed out on, on my prom night was finally satisfied through my sons' night. Which was really my night. So maybe now you understand a little better why it was important to have my bio included. I too did a few things in my life to make a difference in someone else's life, for the betterment. This time he had a Limo to take him to his destination and back, so they couldn't get lost. Please keep in touch. Yours, Mrs. Brenda F. Mc Ninch- Hill
Just want to take a minute to thank Marty, Rich, and the rest of the committee that put Sunday's event together. It was a great evening. I really enjoyed catching up with so many of you. The setting was great and did bring back Prom memories. I hope we can do this again before another 50 years passes us by. All of you take care. Great seeing you. Bill Finck
Truly a memorable experience. So sorry I missed prior ones. Am looking forward like you to getting together again albeit sooner than later. At our age, once every 2-3 years at worse -- though I would relish more frequent engagements. We still have a lot of catching up to do. Eddie Willis
I am now taking the opportunity to thank each of you for such an Awesome 50th Class Reunion. I along with my guest Alton Chandler and all the others had a grand time. It was great to see everyone and especially Carolyn Leavitt and Joan Topham. We actually attended Fitler Elementary School together. What a blessing to be way beyond fifty years. Again thanks for your hard work, the reunion was truly a success. Let's make sure that we stay in touch. Love, Peace and Joy! Saundra E. Hankins Gray
I also would like to thank all the people who worked so diligently to make our 50th reunion an affair to remember. Every detail was perfect, and it seemed to me that everyone was having a wonderful time. It brought back fond memories of high school, and it reminded me why I loved my high school experience so much. My daughter was thoroughly impressed with the friendliness and youthfulness of our classmates. The Cliveden Clipper and the reunion mug will be happy reminders of the evening. Thanks again to the Reunion Committee for all your hard work in putting this together.
Just one little note...my last name and email address were incorrect on the directory in the "Cliveden Clipper." Here is my information:

It's just now a week! what a fabulous job you all did ! Congrats all around ! Marjorie Fink Light
I just wanted to say what a great job all of you did on putting together the reunion. Thank you. It is a lot of work and you guys got into some details that were quite cool- i.e the bread! The mugs, balloons, memorabilia (Rich Meyers pitching a no hitter was a highlight), everything was thought through. Even my prom date showed up!(Hope Cilo). I loved seeing very old friends from back then and even a number of people who I went to Elementary school with! A.B.Day School. I have a picture of the graduating class that I will send around to people who I can recognize. I could recognize almost everyone. I must say that it was a treat to try. "weren't you in my Chemistry Class with Mr. Ettinger?" I swear you were in my Physics class with Tyrone, right?" BTW if you want to know any dish, hang out with Joyce Kennedy. She was in everybody's business back then and man did she have some stories to tell. Please call me when you have a minute if you are in New York. Drinks are on me! Thanks again and all the best.
